مرازجی بہت خوب صورت کلام اور اُوپر سے اُتنی ہی پیاری آواز
نے اس کلام کو سحرانگیز بنادیا ہے ۔ بہت شکریہ

میں ایک پورا سیٹ اپکی نظر کر رہا ہوں ،
ااس میں یہ کلام ضرور سننے گا
دل سُوز سے خالی ہے نگاہ پاک نہیں ہے ۔پھر اس میں عجب کیا کہ تو بییاک نہیں ہیے
میری طرف سے آپکو اور اس فورم کے دوسرے دوستوں عید مبارک ہو

Musician, this was indeed an Eid gift of utmost value. From the bottom of my heart thank you. The message is profound, almost too profound to grasp in words. But then nothing surprising in that. Over time I too have come to understand you are often happiest on that plane. And in song you addressed what I recently tried to say in halting phrases. Give me a bit of time, I'll try and find a piece of music which says it better than just words can. In any case, I do hold you all in affectionate remembrance and there nothing will ever change.

Musician Jee, Thanks a lot for posting an excellent ghazal. I must say lyrics are mesmerizing indeed. This ghazal Sung by Talat Aziz reminds me the poetry of Mirza Ghalib, Souda, and Mir Taqi Mir's era...My apology I am unable to figure out this ghazal is by whom.

Shim Friend, Shall treasure this one, too from a great singer who, under the horrendous burden of unspeakbale grief at her son's untimely death, never sang in public again after 1992. Poignant longing, nostalgia, that is what characterised her from the start. Both sentiments are constant visitors to our own part of the world.
