Warning signs in KPK.

Street talk has turned negative in Peshawar.

I spoke today with an engineering student today. 5000 of the students are going to the November 30th Jalsa in Islamabad so one can expect a large gathering in ISB.
The student said that Imran Khan had met with them about certain issues and had promised to help………well they have not seen him or heard from him since then.
He said that this is the last time they are going to support PTI and IK and if they are disappointed again-( they are hoping to meet with Imran )-……..they will look to support others in the political arena in KPK.
The opposition of PTI namely the PML-N is aware of this discontent and has recently decided to provide Free Lap Top computers to anyone who scores 60 % m,arks in their exams. The Go Nawaz Go slogans have become sort of muted now.

This is an ominous sign since the youth is the strongest wing of the PTI.

Your dire predictions about the success or failure of PTI's November 30 call to Islamabad might yet come true now that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has joined the fight on the other side. A JUIF leader is apparently shot in Sukkur so the good man declares all roads leading our of KPK must be blocked in protest. So we'll finally have JUIF and PTI supporters standing face to face. Who'll turn out to be the greater cowards remains to be seen. More as the fateful day dawns.

I doubt very much if the Molana has any backing anywhere. And it is my firm belief that he cannot stop the AVALANCHE that is coming from KPK to Islamabad………….they have already left and as of now I have not heard any BLOCKAGE of any roads by the idiots who might be followers of the Porno-movie lover Fazlu Diesel. Of course Fazlu is doing that at the behest of the Fat Boy.

But IF………………………………………………………..and I say if something of the sort is even attempted………………all hell will break loose

Thanks a lot, Shim, for your soothing words. As we start upon this fateful day of Nov 30, everything which gives us courage to advance is infinitely precious. You found fitting words to describe the activities our our Maulana Sahib. May the avalanche out of KPK overcome all obstacles. Before I move on to see how the Movement for Change is faring, let me not forget to mention the sizeble change that came over KPK yesterday as Mian Nawaz Sharif proudly conquered the Hazara, giving his first rally there since he stole himself the governance of Pakistan. We are now assured that notoriously fickle KPK (politically speaking) has now abandoned Imran Khan and thrown in their lot with our brave. hard-working, honest NS from Punjab. The only small problem occurred when part of the crowd suddenly burst into chants of Go Nawaz Go.

Shim, more as the day advances. My prayers with us all and mainly with the citizens, young and old, who conquer Islamabad today.

You were right about the "avalanche" from KPK. JUIF workers did try to stop people from passing and it could have had frightful consequences. But IK advised calm and self restraint, so the whole PTI contingent turned round and took the GT Road to reach Islamabad. It too them 6 hours to reach. but at least no blood was shed.

For the rest, November 30th we are not about to forget in a hurry. 2 possibilities now, seems to me. If the Govt still refuses negotiations, they will either try and arrest IK in coming days or else, on Dec 4, we'll really see Lahore in a state of shutdown. Either way good nerves required.

what happens from now on is the proverbial CRUNCH TIME……….. but one slight thing that seems to have escaped everyone in the PTI………………..is the matter of human excretion of urine and faeces.

In this Dharna business since the 14th of August , both Qadri and IK had facilities for those simple human body functions……………but the down trodden had to adopt the Indian Method of going where ever they could go………..and since no one wanted to walk 15 KM, they went in places close by.

Yesterday after the big jalsa…….the same venue was utilized for this noble function of fertilizing the soil……..the places became the Latrine where DEPOSITS were left to dry up in the heat of the sun and then become a fine powder so that the wind would spread it and everyone could get their share of this one more addition to the already gross air pollution…..without the smell of course which the rays of the Sun has killed.

All those that had planned and organized these gatherings did not pay adequate attention to this.
Result…………..A counterpart of Channell #5 ………...foul fragrance of sorts was spreading into the homes of the citizens of Islamabad ……………...Esp: for those that had supported PML-N.

Of course the trees and bushes in Islamabad needed fertilizer badly so at least some good came of it.

If you come to Peshawar from the GT Road or the Motorway..........you WILL not fail to notice that the main road which is the continuation of the GT Road is been made quite clean since PTI took over.
But let us say you go instead on the Ring Road , .....................well the normal state of affairs in Pakistan come to stare you in the face...............namely garbage everywhere , plugged drains and sewers with out flow of the liquids. This is rampant in the streets where business of all kinds is conducted.
I walked yesterday in Peshawar City streets , a sort of what can pass for a shop with a cement platform in front where a few goats and sheep were tied and eating grass. To the right of them a whole bunch of stomachs and intestines were lying. Then it dawned on me.......this fellow was selling FRESH meat available on the hoof.....and of course it was not his job to clean up after his work....it was the job of the new govt: .....at least that is what he said................and he added that now that PTI govt was in place he expected that “ THINGS” will get better. I asked him if the rubbish that he was creating would be removed by him or by the govt: He said and I quote “ I am paying income tax and sales tax so they should be the ones doing it “
In front of all the shops were piles of rubbish and the shop keepers were not bothered about that. I was concerned about the garbage in front of the food shops.........but neither the seller nor the buyers were too bothered about it.
Garbage seems to irritate me since it reminds me of PIGS.....which are dirty and UNCLEAN animals..........so are the people of Pakistan turning into a very large group of Pigs and the country-( including KPK)- has become a Pigs stye. If images are any indication.............that is an accurate description. I saw a bill board put up by the JI or some such outfit on the road….saying the Cleanliness was 50 % of the Faith of Islam………………..I looked hard around but did not find anything I could describe as being clean. I saw a lot BEARDS , a lot of people going to the Mosques……..but I did not see anyone cleaning the front of their shops. I did the only reckless thing on this trip of mine…………..I actually went to a religious looking man , pointed to the bill board and asked him why he did not clean . He said and I quote……………that is the job of the sweepers( the untouchables )- and I am not going to do that " end of quote
And THAT is only the OUTSIDE in the streets………..if ONE was to look into the MINDS of these people…………..well……...I would not want to do THAT.

To clean the environment, it does not take a great deal of effort, machinery or imagination and the results would be obvious.
But then that is probably not at the top of the agenda of the Chief Minister of PTI , Mr. Pervez Khattak whose home town of NOWSHEHRA is itself fast becoming a garbage dump. What else can you expect from the someone who keeps changing his political affiliations again and again
The question has to be asked if they have not cleaned up the city in one year and 18 months...........can they tackle the 4 problems I have mentioned above................Overpopulation ,security, economy and corruption.................and that is just 4 items and I have on purpose not included education which is a big item by itself.

I doubt very much that they actually can FIX things even though their intentions might be noble.
