So, so sorry Life, I missed out on this contribution of yours when it first appeared. Fascinating theory that one can practice artificial insemination on small animals, thereby modifying their genetic inheritance, causing them to acquire new fears and memories. What is practised on animals today, could be applied to the human race tomorrow. And then we'd all turn out genetically-tinkered and culturally-modified creatures tomorrow. If it's done for our own good, i.e. if we could get rid of war-mongering, racialism, greed and the like from those who will come to inherit the earth tomorrow, we'd be the first to cheer on such experiments. But knowing us, we'll probably use it to turn humans into even more monstrous approximations of what they should actually be. So it is my fervent hope that such experiments will prove ineffective in the long run. Better the human being we already know to the monster science gone mad may end up by producing. We'll become the latest Version of the much-detested GMO, only this time in human form.

And now to the personal, Life. How are you? Your studies must be over. Have you found a good professinal niche in which to develop your talents. What are your thoughts these. Stay in touch, if you can. It's good to hear your voice again. Thank you.

Shimatoree always said that it is all about genes. They make us smart or dumb, so choose your parents wisely In a broader view we are what our forefathers were. This article is a proof of what he says. They just found it in rats, it will be there in humans too.

About me, I am stuck in studies, this blanket is not letting me free. It won't stay the same very long hopefully. IK is falling for the dirty tricks of politics. Friends from KPK tell me what is really happening. I wish him best but I am afraid Khan is turning into a politician that we use to know.

Hello Life! It's marvellous to hear from you again. And judging from what you write, not so changed at all as to be unrecognizable. You did well by quoting Shimatoree's tongue-in-cheek comment on the problem of our genetic inheritance. I don't doubt that there is much to be said in favour of the latest theory. But, alas, we don't get to choose our parents any more than we choose where and when we're born. So finally we're forced to lump it all under the heading FATE and we carry on the best we can. Unless of course we're all genetically modified before we're much older. In which case it's probably curtains for humanity.

Still a student are you? Well, not to worry. These years will all appear precious in your eyes as time goes on. Money might be scarce during this period, but freedom is the key word for our student years, so I hope you'll make the most of it.

About PTI, don't know what your KPK friends tell you, but I think on the basis of what little I know that we're going about it the right way. I mainly appreciate the cutting off of the supply lines through the Peshawar area. And now the latest scandal hits us: the 35 punctures. 2014, according to my calculations, should bring about a resolution of many of the problems we're facing now. The two looming matters: US withdrawal and PMLN's mad rush to privatise will both take off seriously soon. Let's all be ready for Phase 2 then.
